Karen founded Citywealth after a career at News International, The Times, and Sunday Times in the legal, financial and recruitment sections. She also ran the Legalease flagship title Legal Business/Asia Pacific Legal 500, and launched Legal Business Awards and Legal 500 parties. Karen then took over In Brief magazine, where she grew the organisation from a buyout where it had gone bankrupt to a successful £500,000-a-year publishing and events business. Her work as a Citywealth CEO was recognised by four New York Stevie Awards: Women helping women (2014, 2015), Innovator of the year (2015), and Entrepreneur of the year (2015).
James is a Partner at The International Family Law Group LLP. He specialises in all areas of children law, with particular expertise in international children matters. James is a Solicitor Advocate, and regularly conducts his own advocacy in the family and High Courts. James is highly experienced in cases concerning the international movement of children. He is a specialist in international parental child abduction cases and is regularly instructed by the parents and children within the UK and abroad, as well as by the Central Authority.
Laura is substantially experienced as a director for complex asset protection, succession planning and outsourced administration services. Laura’s directorships have included structures for holding yachts, residential property, commercial property, 5* hotels, single line stocks and investment portfolios.
Laura is experienced in the provision of bespoke company secretarial and administration services to UHNW families whose main investments are usually split in to capital preservation/growth for younger generations and lifestyle assets for their personal use and enjoyment. Laura started her career as a Tax Assistant at Ernst and Young LLP prior to 9 years at Intertrust (formerly Elian) in Jersey, Channel Islands.
Andrea specialises in providing financial planning and wealth structuring advisory services to US expatriates in the UK and British nationals in the US. Her focus is on advising high net worth and ultra high net worth families with multi-jurisdictional financial interests to design and implement strategies for tax-efficient and risk-managed asset growth. Andrea regularly writes articles in various expat magazines and is periodically asked for press comment on US expat financial planning topics. Additionally, she has previously been a speaker on financial planning topics at both The World Bank and IMF. Andrea completed her MBA at Imperial College London, holds her US Series 65 license and is a Chartered Member of CISI (Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment).
Oliver advises high net worth individuals, trustees, family offices and banks on a wide range of private client, private company and trust tax and governance issues. His current work includes tax multidisciplinary and multi-jurisdictional project management; advice on personal tax residence and domicile for internationally mobile individuals, entrepreneurs and families; advice in relation to personal tax investigations and cross border tax planning for international trust and family office structures. Oliver also advises private equity individuals on remuneration and tax structuring
Guillaume is a Jersey Advocate specialising in trusts, company and commercial litigation. Guillaume has extensive experience of acting for and advising clients in high-value commercial matters in particular involving breach of trust claims, trust disclosure, other administrative proceedings in relation to trusts and enforcement of foreign orders against trusts. Guillaume also advises clients in respect of a range of issues including contractual disputes, claims for breach of directors’ duties, enforcement of foreign judgments and associated freezing and disclosure orders.
Guillaume is ranked by Legal 500 2021 as a “Next Generation Partner”. Guillaume has also been listed as “One to Watch” (amongst private client lawyers in the world) in Legal Week’s Private Client Global Elite 2020-21.
Sophie advises some of the firm’s largest family clients regarding their wealth structuring, succession planning and trusts. Herfocus is primarily on UK resident and/or domiciled individuals, trustees and beneficiaries, with a particular interest in cross-border taxation and succession issues affecting UK expats in France and Malta. Sophie also has experience providing tax and trust advice in the context of matrimonial disputes and pre-nuptial agreements.
In addition to the firm’s own Foundation, having established and registered a number of charitable trusts and companies for clients. Sophie is a member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners).
Sean is a Senior Wealth Partner at Integritas, he is primarily responsible for the growth of the International client base with an emphasis on assisting clients manage, protect and grow their wealth. He has over 15 years of Wealth Management experience, working in London, South Africa, Jersey and Switzerland. He worked for HSBC for 12 years holding the role of International Wealth Manager in Cape Town and Jersey. Finishing his HSBC career in Switzerland at HSBC Private Bank based in Zurich.
Sean was previously a Trustee of Cintre Community, a Bristol based charity which provided support to adults with learning difficulties and challenging behaviour.
Outside of work Sean enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and taking in the many outside pursuits Jersey has to offer, he recently discovered the joys of Golf and describes himself as a slowly improving weekend Golfer.

Ranked as a "Next Generation Partner" by The Legal 500 2022, Lisette trained as a barrister in 2005 and cross qualified as a solicitor in 2008, before joining Dawson Cornwell in 2010.She was made up to partner in 2019.
She advises on all areas of private family law from cohabitation and pre nuptial agreements through to divorce, financial disputes on separation, contact with children and enforcement. She has specialist expertise in complex jurisdictional issues, including securing financial remedies following a foreign divorce and maintenance for "abandoned spouses".Lisette is a Member of the Law Society Family Law Committee, an Executive Committee member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA) and Communications Officer for the AIJA International Private Client and Family Law Commission. She is the Founder and Chair of the EU Maintenance Regulation Working Group, comprising senior lawyers and judges.Her other memberships include Resolution, the Family Law Bar Association, the Franco-British Lawyers Society and the Union Internationale des Avocats (UIA). She volunteers for the Rights of Women advice line.
Lisette holds a Masters’ degree in law with the University of Bristol; her dissertation for which, completed in 2014, was on the EU Maintenance Regulation 4/2009.
She is a regular author and speaker on family law.
Adam joined London & Capital in 2007, initially working alongside the Founder of the company in the firm’s Miami office, serving both US and UK private clients. In 2010, he returned to London to help establish the firm’s US Family Office and has since helped the division’s growth in becoming the UK’s leading adviser to American clients living overseas, managing approximately $2.5bln of AUM.
More recently, Adam has headed the division’s geographic expansion across key European locations, an area expected to grow with our new office in Barcelona. Adam provides his multi-jurisdictional clients with an integrated wealth management service, inclusive of cashflow and financial planning, investment advice and credit solutions across multiple currencies.
Adam has a degree in Business Management from the University of Birmingham and has been awarded the Diploma for Financial Advisers from the London Institute of Banking & Finance.
James joined JTC in 2019 and brings with him over 15 years’ experience in the financial services sector.
Starting his career with AIB Trust Jersey, where he worked for over 10 years, James subsequently moved to London to take up a role with the National Bank of Kuwait plc, before returning to Jersey with Link Group.
James is responsible for a diverse portfolio of high net worth clients and has been involved in transactions across a number of different asset types and jurisdictions, ranging from the management of commercial/residential property funds and private equity investment structures, to succession and wealth planning for families and individuals.
